Hi Rap, Ds, Tamathumper, 4banger, I've sent you a PM.  I cannot upload the audio files of me playing the sax (maybe this forum is intuitively choosy).  I tried MP3, MP4, MP4A, but none is working.  I previously uploaded MP4 onto my gallery (the truffle market video) but cannot do it successfully now.  I haven't tried WAV.  Have any of you uploaded audio files to the forum, or is it just links?

 

So I hope you will let me send the files and you will have some fun with them, maybe build into something interesting.

 

I did actually think maybe we should start with the beat track in order to keep things together.  But if we can't easily mix and match then there's not much point.

 

I shall now look to see if I can download some sort of audio mixing app.

I sent a message to Jay/admin to see if we can be permitted to upload .mp3/.mp4 to either this theme, or perhaps a specific new forum. I also found a "mixer app" yesterday but have not yet tested it.

 

So I downloaded NCH suite, an Australian company, then I did a deep virus scan because I don't trust free products; no scammers detected!  The mixer works but only for about four tracks, and the output can be in a number of formats: mp3 (not mp4 because it's only audio) wav, wma, etc etc.

 

Has anyone had success uploading any of these formats to these themes?
