Slightly off topic (but I am Australian) - if your car has a bra - does that make it female? Just curious, as most blokes do not want to drive an MX5 as it is a bit "girly". I like the idea of one, but it seems a bit odd to say to someone - "nice bra on your car", or "I have a new bra" or as quoted - "I spent more time modifying my bra to suit"? It is a bit like saying "your car smokes".

With clear film, etc - are car bra's still a good thing?

Flash, did it smoke before you played with the bra or afterwards in satisfaction?

Well - if you blew it - I am surprised that it's headlights didn't pop up as well.

I hope that you didn't have to have it jacked up at the time to achieve this.

no, but now it's down for a "nap".

ok - back on topic

i love seeing all of these splitters go on. it took a long time to get to this project, but it certainly seems to have been received well. also happy the installations have been pretty straight forward. we all know how fiberglass stuff can be.

i can't wait to see a line of them in paso

Flash,

do you have a photo of the splitter prior to installation? I would still like one, but we are about to go through the process of building a house and until I know how much that will cost, I am saving every penny. Given my penchant of overcooking things on the track, something robust would suit my driving style.

Looks great!

I wonder how it would look if it were painted BLACK on a light colored car...

I will be painting mine Black to start because the quote I got to paint the splitter and the plastic side cladding In Polar Silver was $850!!! That is prep and paint only - I would be removing and installing the parts!

I have a can of Polar Silver Duplicolour and a case of beer, we can get that done in no time Jake. Probably make the ferry back home the same day. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/wink.png" class="smilie" alt="" />
