Wow time flies. Seems like just a few weeks ago I was missing last year's event. Have a lovely time. Keep an eye out for the triple-black cab previously owned by me, wondering if it is still in the area.

Cheers from NYC,

Tristen

Eric:

Was great meeting up with you and George at the Concours. Was a terrific turnout - something like 350 cars. We got 3rd in our class, and top 968, so a good day all around!

Hope to see more of you soon!

It was the perfect day! We had a great time seeing everyone again. George it was nice meeting you! Nicole and I were checking at your Coupe in the parking lot Mid-Blue Met. Looks so sexy! There were some fantastic cars that showed up too... All of the newer exotics showed up ala Crystal Cove. The car that got me scratching my head was the Corvette with the retro front and rear. WTF was that all about there were 3 of them one for sale $89K... It had a factory window sticker... am I missing something here I have never seen one. The Porsche's were out in full force making up almost 1/2 the show! I love to see the clubs getting together for a general car show it is always fun to have a variety.

My thinking exactly, Eric. Those same types of Vettes were at the concours last year, if I recall. I don't get what the deal is with those either. All I can think is that maybe there's some sort of Vette customizer in the area who thinks he's going to sell a bunch of these. Who spends $89K for a Vette, though??? Someone, I guess.

On a similar note, what about the Chrysler 300s with the Lambo-style doors? Two of those for sale there. Odd.

On a more traditional note, there was a gorgeous SY CGT there. Amazing. I will post photos when I get a chance.

Yeah Nicole pointed that one and the Dodge station wagon out she said what a waste of money... Although she is now working on me to get her a Masarati sports coupe... She has wanted one since they came out. The CGT is gorgeous... although I have seen so many of them I am not goo goo ga ga anymore... So.Cal ruined me!!! lol

Thought you might like to know that there was another concours Sunday, in Greenwich, CT. Some very exotic and many very expensive collector cars, about 30 Ferarris, cars going back to 1912 and many one of a kind. And in the Porsche ring, one immaculate red '94 968 that looked like it just came off the showroom floor. And it only has 10.000 miles on it.
