[quote name='flash' date='Feb 3 2005, 08:02 PM']have you checked the gcr yet to see what the minimum weight for the class is?
the Solo rule book does not use minimum wight for the Stock classes as the car has to run as it was available for delivery to the dealership.
not sure what you've yanked, but i presume you have already yanked the rear seats, spare, compressor, jack, tools and such .
all but the seat they have to stay.
i also presume the kinesis wheels are the 3 piece ones - they are the lightest ones you can get .
yeah the frons are 17.5 lbs and the rear are 19lbs
if you pull the carpet, removed the glue, foam and insulation and relay the carpet you would pull about 25lbs
would love to but it would be illegal.
you can yank stuff like the glove box liner and inside door pieces, and the wood floorboard under the carpet over the dme plate, that's good for another 4
stripping the doors and converting to mechanical windows and deleting the stereo is good for another 20
was this a factory delete option.
the rear wiper is good for a couple
only if it was a delete option from Porsche.
changing the seats is serious weight loss .
thes too have to be Stock.
if you don't already have a minimum weight problem, after that, i think you're pretty stuck without changing class due to modification

I'm pretty much stuck with running the car as delivered to the dealer with the
following changes allowed. any wheel along as it's offset is within a 1/4", any front swaybar and any double adjustable shock and any exhaust cat-back.
all other parts and options are as delivered to a USA dealer.
I lurk on the other forums. and Flash I have to Say you Know your Stuff good
job on the chips. I can't change mine and run in the Stock class <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/mad.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> but that is the rules. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/smile.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />
