Current State of my Car's
#1

Hey guys,

Just an update on the current state of my 968's. The "new" one has had the engine pulled and the "old" one has been gutted. Now all we have to do is pull the old engine and put it into the new car. Should be a snap,LOL

Miles

I'd rather be in Hersey with you guys! Hopefully I will be ready for next year! @#%#%#!, hopefully completed by this summer!

P.S. 993 carbonfiber shift knob picture added for knob question

Hopefully it will get there soon. Don't worry about Hershey there wasn't much there. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/smile.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

Looks like plenty to see to me............More 968's in 1 place than I've ever seen! Plus the opportunity to meet those owners and discuss my favorite topic..........968's!!!!!!!!!!!

Miles..still wishing I was there........

I MISS MY CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My mechanic has gone to visit his Mother in Utah! He says when he gets back he is going to jump into my project full force. I can only hope he does! He should be resuming work this upcoming week.

It's gotten so bad that I have actually gone to look at a gorgeous Black/black/black 2001 Carrera S. It's an all stock beauty with low mileage. If I can get the price I want, I just may buy it to ease my Porsche withdrawal symptoms. I have been going crazy since the weather has finally improved here in Michigan.

Regards

Miles

With as small a weather window as you have, I guess you are going a bit nuts. Bummer to have two of them and not have one running between them. It will all be worth it in the end when the transplant is complete, hopefully soon!!!!

I have a friend with 2, 928s a 951 and a 911 and at times there all down! Can you imagine?

Hope things come together soon Miles. I know the feeling all to well as my mechanic had my car for 3 months last year repairing my gearbox.
