Wind entering cabin
#1

I am getting fairly strong air flow coming from the interior top of the driver's door panel at the window line. The air flow increases when another car drives along side of me.

I can feel the wind coming up between the door panel and the glass, but I was wondering how it is getting into the door from the outside.

The door panel is warped away from the glass slightly. Is this rubber piece available as a replacement piece?

Anyone have any experience or ideas?

Thanks

Brian

Brian, the rubber molding should be available from Porsche (try Sunset Imports in Oregon for good prices). There are also adjustments possible to lean the glass back and forth to close small gaps (adjustment screws/nuts accessible after removing the door panel and the plastic seal between the door and the upholstered panel). That plastic shet may not be sealed to the metal of the door completely too and that will allow air to enter. Good luck, Bob Blackwell.
