i buried this tip in another post, but wanted to share it for anyone looking to flush their coolant.
the bottom rail under the radiator will collect all kinds of coolant when you drain your system. then it drips it out all over the place. as i discovered the hard way, coolant will eat the paint off your garage floor.
so my little tip is this, take a dremmel and a cutting disk and cut a little bit of the corner of the bottom rail off right under the drain plug. then, you can polish up the edge with a little grind/polish bit. works great. slow drips will just fall to your drain pan.
i think you could also epoxy that little cut piece back onto the rail just inside your cut to dam off the rest of the rail just in case the car is leaning the wrong way when you flush.
