Convertible top
#1

I have the original top on my 1993, perfect rear window and top was perfect. 303'd it last summer. When I leave the top down for a couple of days and then put it up whitish areas show up. It is not powder, not mold, it is like color was rubbed off. If I put the top down for a day and then up it does not happen, just when it is in the down position for a couple of days. Anyone have this happen?

When I replaced my top over the summer, the installer told me that he selected a material that would not leave the white residue. I don't know what it is, but I had it on my original top, and I don't get it on my new top. My advice - be grateful that your top is still in such good condition, and worry not.
