Had some fun with the coupe down at last weekend's PCA DE/Time Trial in Pueblo, CO. Great 2.2 mile track with 10 turns, and elevation changes. Have run this track off and on over 5 years, and it just gets more fun (as does the car).
Was great to see George P. down there with his coupe as well. Ran best times of the weekend during the 2-lap time trials, where I'm told I probably set the track record for 968s (1:54). Right on the edge most of that lap (some may say a bit over the edge at one point).
Anyway, just reinforced what a great track car a streetable 968 can be - very competitive with most of the cars out there (race cars and turbos are in a whole different league). Was fun blowing past 911s, 928s, 914s, Boxsters, and 944/951s all weekend. Still feel like there's another couple of seconds to be had out there, too.
The Club Racers hit Pueblo in a month or so, which will be fun to watch (and humbling).
