Well that's a real shame.  I relied on that web site long before I ever discovered 968Forums.

That is sad news - I'd say he'll be remembered every time a 924/944/968 owner works on their car, there can't be many who don't refer to his website at some point.

Yes, very sad.  Didn't Iceshark of heavy duty battery cable fame also die in a diving accident?  If so, what a weird coincidence.

Yes, sad to hear about Clark, lots of very helpful info for the community there.

Related concern, with Clark's passing, I wonder what will happen to the site, it would be a shame to see it go away.

Perhaps one of the well-known 968's forums might be able to assume maintenance of the site and get it updated?

Let's hope that some members of the Garage will do that.

Yes, he also died in a diving accident...I am also a diver, guess that the demographic of the buyers of these cars runs very deep (pardon my pun).

Very sad indeed,

I got a sudden empty feeling when I read the sad news about Clarks passing. Anyone that owns an older Porsche 924-944 or a 951 has found Clark's Garage to be the best help for those of us that do our own maintenance. Our 968 forum has the best maintenance help of any other forum, but the 968 Shop Maintenance books at times refers right back to the 944 Shop Maintenance books.

I hope someone that is able steps up to keep his website up and running.

Best to all, Larry

Very sad to hear about this. As others mention, Clarke made massive contributions to the 924/944/968 community. Glad to hear the site will remain as a memorial, I've consulted it many times.
