Just got off the phone with Autometrics, They said that Wrightwood racing stop making these two years ago and they have not been available since. The owner is not motiveted by money and he has said that he will make another batch...one day.

Whats more frustrating is that he does not want to sell the patent for others to make them.

Again, If anyone has a set sitting in their basement and would like to sell them, let me know.

That does look like a "what's wrong with this picture?" photo. Way inside on a right-hander with the right rear wheel off the ground - and it looks like the front wheels are heading straight or maybe even slightly left! What's the story? The following 944 seems to be on the same line.

The story for me is that going around that gator was forcing me to bleed off the throttle a little. So I started "jumping" over it. The first couple times I tried it got a little hairy, but once I figured out that as long as I keep the steering wheel straight until after I landed on the other side (of the grass; see photo), I could stay flat on the throttle through the "kink". The guy in the blue car is Racers Edge owner Karl Poetl. I will purchase his A Arms in a few more years after he has more development time on them. I need the Charlie Arms now becuase they have been tried and tested for years (And boy they sure look good).

Here are a few more photo's of that same "kink" where I put the stock A Arms through rally school.

I had Charlie Arms on my 968. I purchased them from Paragon. Not sure if they still carry his products but they do sell the racers edge Control arms.

I just purchased a set from RS Barn for my 944 track car. The line is long! I got lucky and bought mine "off season".

Interesting - and educational - line. I guess my street-driving habits are still too strong - I tend to stick with the paved areas. I started hitting more of the rumble strips at the Glen last time, particularly through the Bus Stop. I'll have to see if there's benefit from more "off-roading".

Blaszak, Fabcar, Kokeln, Lindsey, Racer's Edge, SFR and Wrightwood make (or have made) front control arms for the 944/968.

For links to those companies, see http://www.weissach.net/924-944-968_Suspen...sSuppliers.html

Charles, there is a guy in the UK who posts on here who is selling a pair of billet charlies, its Graham who was or still is building a 968 rs replica, the trouble is that he wants some original mo30 hubs and spindles too. because his have been machined to accept the larger pin, look him up in the search box. there's plenty of posts by him, as for buying new i dont think you will get them i have been trying for at least 6 months, gave up in the end and went with the kokeln ones to complement the rear delete i'm running, regards chris.
