Caveat emptor
#1

My name is BJ. I live in Lebanon, NH and I am looking for my next daily driver. I am a life long Porsche fan and I am here to learn more about the 968 to become an informed consumer. Thanks

Check out the "caveat emptor" section - loads of good stuff for the prospective owner in there. As a lifelong Porshcephile you obviously know the value of being informed with these beasts. Other Porsches in your past?

welcome.

There's quite a bit of info in the reading room and in OEM repairs that'll give you an idea of what your getting into. But "getting into" a 968 will ultimately make the decision for you.

Welcome. I agree with Rhude, get in one and take it for a spin!

Actually, if at all possible I recommend that you get in more than one and go for a spin. They are rare enough to be "few and far between" and you don't want your first ride to be the one you assume is correct in all respects, especially if the condition of the car is suspect or it's a "fixer upper".

You want to be reasonably certain that that rumbly noise is tires and not wheel bearings, if it comes to it.
