I got to looking around the undercarriage this weekend while I had the car and jack stands (installing new grills) and noticed this hole. Being admittedly unfamiliar with the underside of my car (it was my first time under there) I assumed it was an inspection hole/port of some sort. Am I anywhere near right? Should it have some sort of plug or cover over it? The first pic should give a little context as to where on the vehicle it is (driver's side looking towards the front) and the others are a bit closer up. And yes I know it's dirty. It rained alot this week and lot of mist was being kicked by by all the cars on the road. It's much cleaner now.

Drat, I'm going to have to quit my job in order to have time to catch all of these things...LOL
Last time Pete checked there were none left in stock because I had warned everyone that these fall out and suddenly everyone examined and found out that they were, in fact, missing...
Don't forget to shoot some good lube in there to keep the cluch fork well lubricated...
Regards,
Jay

Will do! In the mean time, should I at least cover it with something like, God forbid I even mention it, duct tape?
