Cab Top Latch trim piece
#1

Anyone know what this part is called or better yet the part number. The bit that accepts the screw from the back side broke off during restoration.

I've checked out the Katalouge and the S2 cab top install guide, as well as Pelican and Sunset - no luck.

Cool rainy day in SoCal so I am finally getting back to fixing up some little issues in the garage.

Thanks

If I recall I had that issue to, a little epoxy fixed that. You shouldn't really need to take it off for any reason.

Thanks Brian. NLA per AutoAtlanta. Did we ever start a NLA listing on the site?

I agree that I should not need to remove and will likely glue it. I removed it when I painted the sill cover and a-pillar covers. Silly little piece really.

The trim around the hole sometimes makes it difficult to get the T-handle on and off the post. I have one that's off. When I found a part to replace it, I overtorqued it and wound up with the same problem as rxter. I tried to hold it in place via other means and it made it tough to lock/unlock the top, so I just left it off. Lately, I've been thinking about replacing it (again, but more carefully). I called Sunset last week to check the price, but didn't order one yet.

They didn't tell me that. I guess it was a theoretical price.
