When the Cab top is in the lowered position, what is the general measured gap between the roof frame and the boot?

no need... found it.... 50mm +- 5mm.

When my top is lowered, its about an inch from the boot. In the tech manual, it says 50mm, but the picture shows the top about as low as mine. I ask, becuase I saw an 944S2 that was about 2 inches from the boot lid.

the ROW cars have back seats... maybe that affects the settings...

Here is what mine looks like... the hood folds rather nicely and does not interfer with the back seats.
looking at it now, it basically touches the rear
