Alignment specs: inches or degrees
#1

In Flash's alignment specs ( http://www.968forums.com/topic/400-align...-your-car/ ) the values for total toe (both front and rear) are given in degrees. My shop's Hunter D4 11 alignment machine seems to use inches for this measurement. Does anyone know how to convert one to the other?

sure: sin (total toe angle/2) * 12.5 = toe of one wheel in inches

or, for those less math inclined:

set front total toe at about 1/16" toe in. rear at about 1/8"

OK, I get the trig. Thanks. But you say "in". That's different than the DIY specs you gave back in 2005.

In all cases there I see toe out (or zero) front and rear in the DIY.
