Walk away, you didn't see anything.. Think about what the wife would say... Though oddly the last 968 you bought was from DC Craigslist.

As I am in the market for a 968 in the DC area, I called the seller of this vehicle. He told me it has been parked for the past 6 or 7 years, out-of-doors.
Still, if I weren't out of town at the moment I would still be very tempted to at least go take a look.
Anyone going to check it out by any chance?

Was raining when I went there so did not get a good going over
WP0CA2965SS840182
Build 4/94
C02 231 331 398 437 454 718
Midnight Blue int/ext with blue top
Paint badly oxidized
Passenger seat is ripped, driver's side looked OK
Piece on convertible top where it meets windshield is bent but it seemed to be sealed just fine.
Shifter boot was popped
Center console cover needs to be replaced
Dash has a few cracks
Trunk seal is shot and water has gotten inside
Spare, compressor, jack and tool kit all there
Top was in good condition and back window may be cleanable- hard to tell how much was dirt
Aftermarket alarm
Tires looked new ok so not sure how long it had really been sitting someone can run a carfax and maybe see what there is on there for activity
Considered picking up but do not have the time or energy to put into either making it nice or parting it. Considered buying it as a parts car to sit in the driveway but doubt the wife wants a 3rd cab sitting here.
Seller buys theft recoveries and flips them will small profit margin, only looking for 2-300 on this one I saw the paper work.
Clean title- GEICO is apparently good at doing clean titles on theft recoveries.
