Out for a nice highway drive, crusing with the flow of traffic at 75-80mph ( hwy 280 tends to have most cars drive in that mph range more often than not ) and I get passed as if I was standing still by some nutcase in a Nissan which looked to be at least about 10 years old.. not the driver, the Nissan. He must have been going close to, if not over 100mph. That by itself is not that unusual, 280 has cars fly at those speeds but as he went by I noticed that his right front tire was a compact spare ! IDIOT !!
If he has to break hard, or make a sudden sharp turn for some reason, he's going to wipe out several cars.
I should have gone after him and call the CHP with the bozo's license plate info, but did not think of it at the time.

yeah - that one never ceases to amaze me - there is a reason those things have speed limits on them, and they are limited to very low mileage use - then you see some clown sticking an old emergency spare on the car, which is long past it's lifespan, drive fast and really heat it up, and then wonder why it blows

the other one that gets me is when i see the same car for a week on that tire - take it to the tire shop already - that thing is only good for something like 50 miles - it is only designed to get you to a service station
