BJ auction
#1

Did anyone catch the Barrett Jackson auction in AZ this weekend? So many great cars. The muscle cars are my favorite however I couldn't help notice a steal. Did anyone see the 1998 993 cab? It had only 240 original miles, it was loaded with options, an unusual green metallic with a matching interior, unfortunately, a tiptronic, but it had an original sticker of $115K. It sold for only $59K. I would have purchased it for that price. Someone got a great deal.

The killer sale of the weekend was the Coddington Whatthehaye rod that went for $505k!

Yeah, I watched about 12 hours of it. Amazing!!!!

The 993 was a great car for a premium price. Yes, it was extremely low mileage but it's still a seven-year-old car.

The auction is an amazing event that has become a major influence on the hobby. Personally, I watched several hours of it, and I am simply amazed at how many six-figure sales take place for cars, many of which are essentially well-executed hotrods. As they say, the cars are worth whatever someone is willing to pay. that someone is certainly not me, but then what do I know ? I like old german cars that I drive on a regular basis !
