Best Movie Soundtrack

So we are working on classic movies - how about best movie soundtrack



I will go with Dan and start with Valley Girl and Fast Times at Ridgemont High <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/rock.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> for the 80's

and theres always the Big Chill....



and lets please stay on topic - no best band/performer ever stuff... <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/glare.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

The soundtrack I listen to more than any other: Blade Runner. Look for the semi-illegal underground versions 'BR-25 The Final Mix' (a 3.5 hour continuous mix of Vangelis' music and ambient sounds from the film) and the 'Esper Retirement Edition' (6 CDs worth of the full score, ambient excursions and pretty much every song ever that contains a reference to BR. Really amazing stuff.
