I've been involved in a law suit for sometime over the purchase of a new home 4 years ago. It looks like the builder is going to agree to buy back my house. Making another move is bad news, but buying a new house with a third garage is good news. Several of the new homes we'd looked at could have a separate third garage added. Aaaahh! A private place for my 968. I bet I could use Eric as a consultant on this project and I could spend more money on the garage than the house. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/biggrin.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> One of the builders' Father-in-law is a classic car collector and dealer. He has about 20 Corvettes in storage including a 78 pace car with less than 50 miles on it. The builder has lots of ideas on how I could add a special garage.

Make sure you have your new home inspected by a Qualified Home Inspector. New homes as you know are not without flaws or building violations. If you like, I could recommend a good Home Inspector near you.

Just purchased a new home and yes, I had it inspected...good advice. One home we looked at had a separate 3rd garage that was labeled "Sports Car" on the plans. My separate 3rd garage is becoming known by the family as "The Shrine".

already referred to as the "garage mahal" mine is about to undergo yet another face lift - we did the moto floor a couple of months ago, but as of last night, we ordered all of the cabinets to line the 3 walls and new benches to boot - it should all be installed by the end of labor day weekend - i'll post pics when we are done
