Can anyone tell me how to add atf fluid through the TipTronic's "Quick-Fill Device"?



After removing the vertical piece to expose the flared tube fitting, do you just attach a hose and pump the atf in, or do you need to loosen or remove the horizontal nut also?



Also, there is an plastic orange cap on top of the see-through reservoir, right beside the Quick Fill device. Can I just remove that cap and pump the new aft in through there? Thanks for any help/suggestions.

I just used one of those cheap pumps for one quart oil bottles and used it to pump ATF from the one quart bottle into the top of the white reservoir after removing the cap. Worked better than a couple of alternatives I tried. One note if you drop the pan, the fluid level will drop after driving however, if you just drain the ATF the level will stay the same after driving.
