Mine is on. Painted Blue Horizon Metallic - same as the car. Lookin' good! <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/rock.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

Bill
Slightly off topic (but I am Australian) - if your car has a bra - does that make it female? Just curious, as most blokes do not want to drive an MX5 as it is a bit "girly". I like the idea of one, but it seems a bit odd to say to someone - "nice bra on your car", or "I have a new bra" or as quoted - "I spent more time modifying my bra to suit"? It is a bit like saying "your car smokes".

With clear film, etc - are car bra's still a good thing?
funny - i spent quite a bit of time modifying my bra, AND my car smoked.
Flash, did it smoke before you played with the bra or afterwards in satisfaction?
lol - afterward. it wasn't until i "blew" it that it smoked.

and we're off...........
Well - if you blew it - I am surprised that it's headlights didn't pop up as well.

I hope that you didn't have to have it jacked up at the time to achieve this.
no, but now it's down for a "nap".

ok - back on topic

i love seeing all of these splitters go on. it took a long time to get to this project, but it certainly seems to have been received well. also happy the installations have been pretty straight forward. we all know how fiberglass stuff can be.

i can't wait to see a line of them in paso
Flash,

do you have a photo of the splitter prior to installation? I would still like one, but we are about to go through the process of building a house and until I know how much that will cost, I am saving every penny. Given my penchant of overcooking things on the track, something robust would suit my driving style.
i put one up in the announcement thread

here's one:

Front splitter installed today. Looks as if it should have been there all along. Nice job Flash!!
thanks. that is exactly what i didn't like about the others, and exactly what i wanted in mine.

enjoy
I hate my current splitter. I need this!
Mine just arrived. Thanks Bob.

Can't wait to get it to the body shop, tomorrow.
Langley and I will be over to stare at the mythical splitter tomorrow <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/wink.png" class="smilie" alt="" /> Seems someone ordered ours at closing time just so we could learn from every elses mistakes, eh Jake <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/wink.png" class="smilie" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/laugh.png" class="smilie" alt="" /> , yea, that's it!
As soon as I saw Phil's post I knew that Dave would have a reaction! <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/whine.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

Dave - yours will be EXTRA special when it (finally) arrives! <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/clap.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />
I know it will be, you ordered it in Midnight Blue right? Just kidding Bob!!!
Splitter installed on white cab.[attachment=10098]
Looks great!

I wonder how it would look if it were painted BLACK on a light colored car...

I will be painting mine Black to start because the quote I got to paint the splitter and the plastic side cladding In Polar Silver was $850!!! That is prep and paint only - I would be removing and installing the parts!
Someone must have to trek to the pole to get the silver?
I have a can of Polar Silver Duplicolour and a case of beer, we can get that done in no time Jake. Probably make the ferry back home the same day. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/wink.png" class="smilie" alt="" />
