I put in a new front grill today on a 1992 968 I just bought. Looks a lot better now!

Did you replace the grille without taking off the bumper?

Yes - wasn't that bad with one side up on a jack stand. I got the oil cooler out of the way by removing the four 10mm bolts. I do need to order a new airduct as mine was in bad shape. Getting it out of the way helped.
Looks great! I'll be doing this job soon.
Looks good! Nice to hear you didn't have to completely remove the front bumper.
By "airduct" do you mean the little curved snorkel that feeds the air to the airbox? If so, you might want to do a search of the site for "airbox mod". Perhaps the single simplest least expensive surprisingly effective mod you can do to a 968. The mod completly does away with the snorkel.
Part number is 944.505.121.00 and I found it for $84.39 from Sonnen out in CA.

No - this is a plastic shroud that routes air into the condenser and radiator - part number 944 575 141 00.
Looks great!
Where are you in ATL? Be fun to have a 968 get together in this area. I'm in Covington.

I'm over in Norcross. I just had a parting party for a 944 turbo that a bunch of buddies came over to. If you get a chance PM me your email address and I'll let you know the next get together. That would be fun to do just a 968 gathering too in Atlanta.
Done. It would be fun to share 968 war stories. I know I've got plenty.
Looks great I have to do this but I thought I had to remove the bumper to get to it. Makes a big difference in the front looks good
I've only just now realized that mine has some cracks in it, I guess I just wasn't paying attention! Doh!
