Check out the photshop job, do you guys think they look good and would handle well. Wheel enhancement says they will fit and can mount 225 40 18/265 35 18's
My 997 with those wheels are 19's, not 18's? FWIW, I have tried to fit the 19's, and they fit on a 944/968, but are WAY WAY WAY to big for comfort.

Here is a picture thats been floating of a 951 that gave me the idea to try them out.

Ill be honest and tell you they look quite a bit worse in person than in the pictures. 18's are plenty of meat...unless wheelenhancement has replica's.

Wes
With the understanding that this is a clear matter of personal taste - there is no "right" and "wrong" - I think these are ugly on the original car and ugly on the 968.

(On edit) Oh, and I forgot to say - ugly on the 951.
I side with Anchorman on this. But I'm very happy you're back having fun with your 968!
Those are the Boxster 18's and I kind of like 'em, but I like spokey fiddley bits. The 997 19's are similiar, but different.
Thanks John, I am having reneed enthusiasm for sure!

Yes the two wheels pictured 19's vs 18's are different wheels, the 19's have more holes and slighty different. See them both here www.wheelenhancement.com
How about these...Boxster 17" - I am thinking using the rear 17x8's on all four corners

Do you think I could fit 245's on them?
sORRY TO SAY, BUT i DO NOT LIKE THEM ALSO.
Which wheels? ^^
I think they look great on the red 951 pictured -- they complement the 951 straight lines and look swell with that meadlight mod. But on the 968 I think there's too much clash with the 968 curves. IMHO.

They are definitely kewl wheels though.

Yes but Would you like them in a house?

Would you like them with a mouse?

Would you like them in a box?

Would you like them with a fox?

Would you? Could you?

In a car?

Like them! Like them!

Here they are.

You may like them.

You will see.

You may like them in a tree!

You do not like them.

So you say.

Try them! Try them!

And you may!

IIIIII8^)
i wish i may - i wish i might

i do not think those wheels are right

i do not like them from afar

i do not think they are on par

i do not like them standing near

i do not hold them very dear

the best wheels, i think, for this car

are like what it came with, the simple 5 star
^^ Yes but I want 18's they fill it out much better, 17's are small relatively these days. I can;t get my wheels in 18's
I have neither the talent nor the inclination to be so creative. So, I'll simply vote "thumbs down". Some folks like "busy" wheels; they're not for me.
I know what you mean, they are a little busy, one thing that was appealing was the claimed "lightweight" aspect. Flash, something you may appreciate See details here.. They are all a basic 5 spoke shape, not "that" busy

as an fyi these are the 19's that they are being confused with..you can see the difference, and the last wheels are the ones I have...

Do you guys see any 18's here you would suggest http://www.wheelenhancement.com/index.php?t=Wheels

18" Sport Classic II. MetalMaster brake pads are a must! (zero dust)

I do! I like them, Sam-I-am!

And I would eat them in a boat.

And I would eat them with a goat...

And I will eat them in the rain.

And in the dark. And on a train.

And in a car. And in a tree.

They are so good, so good, you see!
But, pardon me if I say, they are not, are not, for me...
Understandable, to each their own, what do you think of these 18's,

Hmmm, I do like those wheels.

I've also given a lot of thought to "upgrading" to 18"s the next time I need tires. I also want the lightest Porche Genuine wheels with a 5-star look. I've been thinking of the Porsche 2002 996 lightweight Carrera wheel. This wheel comes in 7.5" and 9" widths like the factory M030 wheel widths, jut in 18"s rather than 17"s.

Here's the link to the wheel at Wheel Enhancement:
