They just did mine last week.
Pre-cleaning numbers:
275 Good
279 Good
281 Good
270 Dripping
Post cleaning numbers:
284 Excellent
285 Excellent
286 Excellent
284 Excellent
System balance went from 4.7% to a tidy 0.7%
Pretty happy with those results, that's GOT to be worth a few BHP....and certainly some smoothness.

What do they typically charge for this service..?
05-02-2006, 05:38 PM
If I remember correctly, somewhere in the ballpark of $120-130, not including removal of course.

I've heard good things about Marren Injection....
http://www.injector.com/injectorservice.php
I'm probably going to send mine out to them pretty soon.

They do seem to be the good east coast resource. I've heard the same.

rc is $24 each - typically one day turnaround - dropped off today - i should be picking them up tomorrow

Bob: how many miles on your car now and did they look carboned up?
05-03-2006, 06:50 PM
43k
didn't look bad - the age was the major motivation - sitting as much as it has leads to varnish - this was further indicated by the failure on the bleed down test - it is supposed to hold 2 bar of pressure at 20 minutes - didn't get close
injector #1 before 287cc after 291cc
injector #2 before 284cc after 290cc
injector #3 before 271cc after 289cc
injector #4 before 281cc after 290cc
looks like #3 was the goofy one causing me the "problem"
good to go now - should run very nicely with these, a new hotter coil, 8mm wires, rotor, cap, O2 sensor, and another set of the iridium plugs
installing A/F guage at the same time, so i can dial mixture in according to altitude

I have nearly double that mileage, so I'm looking forward to a noticeable improvement after I have mine cleaned.

Bob: don't let the smog tech see anything that changes the a/f mix... <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/wink.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

no worries - this is just a cleaning and reset to factory spec on the injectors - no mod - everything else is transparent and legal
the mixture thing won't be an issue - there is no preclusion from adjustment capability
