Yep, you where ignored Flash. LOL. Some of us cheep 968 owners still have college payments to be made. I guess that's why we don't drive a 959. Anyway my fix is good, and as they say" If it ain't broken, don't fix it".....The Amethyst Dazzler is performing brilliantly.
did you temperature test those desk rings? that airbox can get to over 200 degrees. that makes a lot of plastics really soft. if you didn't, i'd keep an eye on that
I will certainly take you up on that advise after a long hot run and report back.....Saturday she is all dressed up to go on display at the CSRG Charity Race at Sonoma Raceway....should be a fun day watching the old classics racing.
yeah - i had to learn the hard way about plastics and being in the engine bay.
Checked the air inserts after many hot runs. Have not found any changes or deterioration yet. Will continue to check.
