I wish. I've been off the radar for a while but noticed this trip coming up. I'm sure it's going to be a blast! I need to do some sea trials next weekend on a sailboat I've been designing for Hobie Cat. I will be building a tow hitch for the 968 soon so I can tow with it (the boat and trailer way less than 500 lbs). Tahoe would be an amazing spot to sail it.

I do not know the exact color of the powder coat that I had done but you could call the place I had it done. 360-558-3792. the owner did his car in the same color that I chose. Had mine done last year, 6/22/15 for $600

Car turned out great. Almost looks like a clear-coat job now. I like those wheels on the 968 and think they look good silver. Did you mock up a photo with the grey wheels? All the best!

I did do a clear coat. I finished a Triumph TR-6 restoration a few years ago and went with a clear coat finish...I was so happy with it I decided to do the same on the Porsche. I will do a mock up with darker wheels and see what forum people think before I have them done. These cars don't have any chrome on them, so I think it should look really clean.
