I've poked my head up here a few timesbut seattledl's post is prompting me to say hello. My 968 is a red '94 coupe which is basically stock. Although I did get the koni sports put in this spring for the track season. Wow, what a difference from the 14 year old originals they replaced.

seattledl, the red 968 you've seen in Kirkland is probably mine. As Eric_K said there aren't many 968 around here, and I've never seen another red one. I've talked to one of the PCA guys from here and he has a dark blue 968 as well, a convertable if I remember correctly.

This is a great forum, my hat's off to Flash and the others for keeping it running. I certainly look forward to popping my head up more and more as I keep learning about these cars.

They are out there, as it seems like I never see the same one twice. I have seen several different red ones on the eastside, one of them may have been you!

Hi Tim,

The red one looked great - thought I saw some track numbers still on it. Was a nice coincidence as it was the same day I took delivery of mine.


Still waiting on customs paperwork to get it registered though...

Eric, I wouldn't be surprised at all if the red 968 you saw was me [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif[/img] Like you said there aren't a ton of them around so the odds are good. And Dave, you almost certainly saw mine since I have the numbers on the rear windows from the last track day (471). I should be pretty easy to pick out now [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif[/img]
I signed up for the jul 29th PCA DE day, if you head out to this one I'll certainly drop by and say hello.

Although sadly when I was out for a drive today the engine oil light came on [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif[/img] Time to do some searching to figure out what's going wrong here. Gotta love this forum [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif[/img]
