Darryl,
I spoke with him. That is where he got the stats (courtesy of the 968 registry). he tried to sell the car last year. Although it is a 92 it is a late 92 so it doesn't have the badge or emblems. Pretty rare though in that color.

nice Crayola reference....I like paint that looks different in differnet lights...I'm not real crazy about the newer paint jobs I've seen on some cars that actually change colors as they drive by, however.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}><!--quotec-->I love that color - FWIW. I went by a 2002ish Mustang a couple of months ago. I really hate that car, but the guy had painted it this blue bottle fly color that changed to vivid green as I drove by. Fun to look at, but I could not drive it myself. Its like a billboard "I'm speeding, please pull me over". Who am I kidding, the closest I'll ever get to Blue or Coral red will be black.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->
That is probably not a second hand paint job. Ford made a Cobra Mustang that year in a color called 'Mystichrome' and that is exactly what it looked like. The cool thing was that the seats had leather inserts that matched. I thought it looked great myself.

One of my all time favorite color combos I've ever seen in a car.
07 Honda Civic Hybrid - silver with 07 EX rims
93 968 Coupe - cobalt blue, cobalt/white leather, 6-speed, factory C2 Turbos, 43k miles
70 Mustang Boss 302 - grabber blue/black, all original, matching numbers, shaker hood, Magnum 500 wheels, rear spoiler, tachometer, sport slats, wide ratio transmission -- a true time capsule
