logging in w/my 1993 968 on 17s, a rare color available only in 1993, i think, of wimbledon green metallic. as for me, a 45+ year porsche club of america member. as a high point, was able to enjoy racing in a spec 944

class for 8 years with scca, nasa and others.

What are your plans for the 968 and you with regard to use? After all the years of racing how do you slow down? Thinking of DE' just to keep your hand in. With your years of experience your PCA region should get you certified as an instructor.

this post responds to several previous questions. my plan for th car is to keep it in it's present nice condition, no special performance tweeks, well, mabee sport shox. will probably only auto-x at th occassional parade. its very difficult to slow down from racing, since my competitive side autocrossed 1966 thru 1998 interspersing "DE" 1982 thru 1998 when th racing started. was designated regional track instructor 1983

and instructed with SCCA for several years. somehow missed out on pca "certification" but have been welcomed to instruct whenever i would show up. it's something i enjoy doing.

a new yorker asked about posting a pict of th cars unusual color. ok, when i can, but dont hold your breath. : }
