Coming soon to a track near you!! A big thanks to Pete at the Barn for helping me squeeze out those extra HP's. At our first race I put #68 on the pole, finished first in class and second overall.

Cheers,

Joel:

How competitive is the 968? I'm looking at a few options (Porsche 944T, 968 and BMW M3) for racing. Want to get back to somethign procuction based. Thanks in advance.

Not to in any way belittle Joel's great accomplishiment, but I'm beginning to wonder - does a 968 ever NOT win its class? Or for that matter, beat a significant number of cars several classes above it? The rule makers are going to start requiring an automatic 500 lb weight penalty on all 968s if this keeps up... <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/blink.png" class="smilie" alt="" />

Cloud, we already carry 245LB more than the S2. We will be at Roebling Rd this weekend, I will posts video sometime next week.

But clearly, given the combination of superior set-up, and the skill of the drivers, 245 lb isn't nearly enough to level the playing field! I'm not sure even 500 lbs is enough...
