<img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/sad.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> Ok, goofy here broke the facelplate last night for the trim piece that has the temp gauge and lighter in it!
I tried to get the AC controls faceplate off (like I used to with my 944's) but after removal of all the knobs, the plate wouldn't come off!
What's the secret to getting that center plate off (without breaking it)?

As I recall, You do not have to remove the knobs from the climate control. You do have to remove the slider ends though. the trim just snaps on and off. I would take a putty knife and slide it under the edges and pop it off. It has been a while since I replaced the head unit of my 944S climate control, but this is what I recall
