a weekend at bob's
#1

well, while most people were out in the sun, playing barbequing and generally enjoying themselves, as people should, i spent the weekend in the garage frantically trying to prep the car for denver - here's a few things that were on my plate:

r&r instrument cluster, change odometer gear, upgrade bulbs to higher wattage, and repair reflectors

remove passenger airbag

reset ride height of new springs for alignment tomorrow

install new engine bay aerodynamic parts i just had made

reinstall front bumper cover, splitter (after it's 4th respray), and plastic belly pans

modify third belly pan for install wednesday

prep new underbody aerodynamic parts for install wednesday

install amplifier for sub

build and install subwoofer (see "cab subwoofer" thread for details)

i did manage to squeeze a barbeque in there though

and this was what i got to see this morning passing over my house - i was pretty tired from working all weekend, but this got me sparked up again - pretty cool

hope everybody had a good one

Do you mean you managed to squeeze a BBQ into a 968 as a mod? That's pretty impressive! Hotdogs on the go! lol

Heh, I think it may be hard to classify your car as a 968 anymore, it's practically a new model <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/smile.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

When Bob was at the Newtown gathering, there was some discussion about the mods he's done, and I suggested that he's now driving a 969.

Dont forget to add helping me install my chassis brace. Btw, it is not only great looking but extremely functional... Now if I can only get someone to buy my heated seats, I can get new ones... maybe Ill get them anyways...
