too funny - i never have been one to pay much attention to post counts - i don't get the relevance, but some folks do, and who am i to question it? - frankly the only reason we left it there is for tracking new members - once they hit "member" level, i'd just as soon see it stop counting, but it does no harm, so we have left it alone - besides, it does seem to provide some level of entertainment value, so what the heck?

Some great entertainment. I've laughed almost uncontrollably at posts by some of our more humorous members (ds968, rhude come immediately to mind). But for me this is much more about developing a deeper appreciation for the mechanics and engineering of this car, and learning "how to" do a few things. I'm pretty low on the handy scale, but well respected and proven on the "grab a wrench and destroy your car" scale, so this forum and the wealth of knowledge shared and stored here has helped me make some good upgrade decisions, actually fix a few things, improve a few things, and teach my son a few things. Much more than simple entertainment IMHO.

BTW have you found any local fun run guys JC? Some of the greatest roads in your area.
