The factory fit rads were made by LRO, this firm is now owned by NRF, this company is world wide
See if you can find a new one on their website, then see if you can track one down with the part number they give
No experience of any air con, my car does not have it

Found this in Germany
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/372958587350
And this in the USA
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/283195814820
So i decided to check Porsche themselves,
so there are two different ones, one upto 93 and one 93 on
so in US dollars, If Porsche have stock?
up to 92, 944 573 211 01 $769.33
93 on, 944 573 211 02 $897.72
but the plot thickens, when I search in PET for the part numbers above the first one 944 573 211 01 shows that it fits 944 >>> 1985>1990, then 968 to 1995, the second number 944 573 211 02 only fits the 968. so not sure what to make of that,
so I called Porsche Parts Department this morning, I can order the later one for £897 GBP less 5% discount, that works out at $1500 AUD,
you might get a better deal buying from the USA

They changed the refrigerant from the early cars...sorry don't know the different ones (R134?)...should be able to search here, I'm too busy.

Should not make a difference, as its all about the seals with a gas change,
You can upgrade whats in an older system to R134a by changing the seals and vac out all the old oil
Thats what I have been advised but Im by no means an ac expert
