Aloha Bill !!! Can't believe I missed this post.... I trust you are well..... Echo your thoughts... a simply awesome event at an amazing track with perfect weather and great 968s raising eyebrows all around... The following weekend I ran into two of the ladies (yellow and purple 968s) that were running at Pocono with NNJR on Friday during the All Ladies event. I ran Sat and Sunday double infield and long course.... Fun....
LOL Bill.... I only drove by you at the Glen cause I COULD NOT BRAKE!!!! I did find a set of rear pads after calling Pete and realizing I could sell my sould to a 951 owner for a set of used fronts to fit on my rears...
You were doing just fine... great line and speed.... beautiful car.... and consistent driving.....
I am working on a plan to have kind of a fully built budget track car by the end of the year... have been erring outside the 68 camp looking at 951 Ts and even M3s, but the PA peeps have been keeping me in check, and I may be commiting to stay away from the dark side and make you guys (and gals) proud...
I'll be in Pocono's this weekend with NASA/PDA 3 day multi configuration event. Running 30 minutes on / 30 minute off sessions on Fri all day rotating through all 3 configurations, then double infield and long course on Sat and Sun... You going to be around? I will also definitely be at the Glen 3 day event on August with NNJR PCA. Hope you can make that one.....
