#21

What are the quickest 944/968 times on Eastern Creek, including turbos? Also what do the Cup cars do?

ok, the quickest 968/944 times on semi slicks are 1.48.5 to 1.48.7 for N/A cars.

The quickest 944 turbo (a 16v 3.0l turbo fully built engine, ohlins etc) is pulling 1.42 approx, but that is on slicks. I think slicks worth 4 to 5 sec a lap.

The quickest street GT3 (996/997) very well driven is doing 1.43 approx

GT3 Cup cars, 1.39 ish I think.

Interesting. My car is finally on a container heading home from Dubai. Hoping to get it out on a few tracks for a run and might even get down to Eastern Creek from QLD one day. Cheers.

Well if you do, lets meet up.

Hey here are some pics in race livery from Sunday's meet. It was the final round of the Porsche championship for 2011, and was also the annual BMW-Porsche intermarque race. Porsche won, so are now up 4 to 3 wins! <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/EmoticonCar.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

Enjoy.

Might see you at one of the PCQ sprints? Are you planning on doing any club sprints?

Might do Eric! I am still not clear what categories are catered for in the QRDA and CAMS race events in Queensland that I might be able to race in, so not sure yet. Woeful amount of up to date info on the internet, so I will have to get along to a couple of events to figure it out. In any case I will probably join PCQ events so I can at least get it on the track occasionally for a run.
