Hi Guys. I'd like to purchase or download a workshop manual for my 968.

I tried the following path. "The Reading Room". "968 Library". "968 Workshop Manual". 4 links are listed.

(1) "Reliable" takes you to a purchase page. Anybody used this site?

(2) "Cannell Original". The link to "Porsche 968 workshop Manual" doesn't work. Clicking the download button merely takes to another unrelated list (Brother Inkjet printers"

(3) & (4) takes you no-where and gives the 404 Error message.

The only option appears to be the www reliable site. Any experience with this?

Are there any other options? Can anyone steer me to a quality link please, or do you have a copy I can download.

Kind Regards

Michael Silvey

the problem is probably copyright infringement.  cannell keeps removing the file shortly after they put it up.

Hi Waylander, what do you mean moved?

I was eager to get an annotated version of the WSM last nite when I saw your post, tried the link on my iPhone, but couldn't complete the download and the link wasn't saved.

Interesting, I downloaded it from the link posted by Waylander onto my tablet last night, now the link is gone. I have a CD with the workshop manual and also PET (parts) I could probably burn a copy of that.

Hi Guys. Thanks for your comments with the 968 workshop manual.

Reading through the "Table of Contents" there are several items which are not written about, and they refer to " The following topics of repair group__ are described in the Repair Manual Type 944 " .

To complete the manual for the 968, I guess I'll need to get the 944 manual, or at least some parts of it.

Does anyone have any sources for the 944 Workshop Manual please.

Kind Regards

Michael

I have the whole thing on CD, maybe I can find a way to post it up here for reference, not reproduction since copywrited.

posting it here constitutes publishing it, which would be a copyright infringement.  that's exactly why it isn't here already.  if we can find a legal way around that, i would be happy to post it.

I had made a copy of my official manual for Ernie (see his comment above.) it cost me $165 in a binder including shipping. if anyone wants one.i looked at the first item on Flashes list and I was dubious as to what one would get as they were charging $7.95.

my copy has all 5 volumes and weighs 5.5 lbs. with the binder

And Porsche dealers probably also sell them. To be honest, having a printed manual would be easier than looking at a CD on my computer. The monitor keeps falling into the engine compartment.

that's why i bought a set.  mine is a 27" and that was making a mess of the shiny bits in there, and was straining my back.

got them when sunset had a deal.  was about the same price as what is on pelican right now.

Is there a "Owners Manual" available. I've got the Workshop Manual now, thanks, but could use some basic operation information.

Kind Regards

Michael
