944 after market shifter
#1

As I was walking in the parking lot of a grocery store yesterday, I passed by a not so well kept 944 ( not dented or anything, but far from a sparkling example..)

Instinctively, I looked at the interior to see the condition of the seats and other stuff.. and then..even I, not one to flinch easily, was stunned by the UNDOUBTEDLY AFTER MARKET shifter knob. And when I say knob... well, let's see how I can put this in a civilized manner : nah, no way to do it.. the shifter was a dildo !! Flesh color on top of it all..

I laughed so hard, I must have passed the odwalla drink I was sipping right trough my nose. You have to give it to the owner ( ok, questionable choice of words ) to have the gaul driving that. But I suppose it makes for good practice. She ( he ? ) must have a great sense of humor.. weird, but funny.

Had to share.

and an afterthought.. I suppose the driver would have no complaints about the aftermarket knob vibrating at certain rpm..

So what "appliance" is used to shift into reverse?
