I love my 968 for what it is & don't hate it for what it isn't!

LOL, believe it or not I actually saw this in a newspaper ( and don't ask " what's that ?! " , ' cause we'll be able to guess your age right away ) at the coffee shop this morning , but since Joe already responded with the links.. never mind..

but I am surprised they got the story in print that quickly..

In Germany currently and hadn't heard of this. Was just commenting to my friends that the fatality rate per mile on the autobahn was less than US Highways and based on my anecdotal evidence from my trip in 05 and this year, I think they drivers here are better. I have yet to see a driver on a cell phone for instance. That being said, there are some crazy instances with people passing others over 160 kph.

drivers are much more attentive ( pretty much have to be.. ) at triple digit speeds which no doubt reduces
the number of accidents from careless drifting into the adjacent lane at a snail's pace of 65mph, or while daydreaming, or putting on make up, or shaving, or texting, or eating.. and all those things which are so easy to do when driving at relatively slow speeds.. that's my theory and I'm sticking to it
