I'm not referring to Trump here since I have no clue as to the history and financial track of his companies, but corporate bankruptcy ( ch. 11 , not ch.13 aka liquidation ) does not NECESSARILY indicate the company was poorly managed , it could be an entirely strategic decision for any given one of multiple reasons to do so. There are many situations where market segment forces over which management have no control , nor can they be foreseen with any degree of confidence, can very quickly cause a major downturn in a company's financial stability. One of the few short term solutions in order to maintain your payroll and save your employees jobs is to screw your suppliers and any other unsecured credit grantors. Not fair, but who ever said business was about fairness ?! Besides bad debt insurance is available so anyone who grants unsecured credit terms should consider that recourse. Anyway, I'm going off on a tangent here just to give Trump ( a person I never liked to begin with , and now even less so ) the benefit of the doubt re his companies bankruptcies . However, that said, one may be excusable but four ?! That's highly suspect, to say the least . Regardless, I can't imagine this carnival clown could get the GOP nomination, but who the heck else would tne republicans choose when polls show him blowing by everyone else with a HUGE ( one of the Donald's favorite words ) margin ?!
