2016 political predictions
#21

I'm not referring to Trump here since I have no clue as to the history and financial track of his companies, but corporate bankruptcy ( ch. 11 , not ch.13 aka liquidation ) does not NECESSARILY indicate the company was poorly managed , it could be an entirely strategic decision for any given one of multiple reasons to do so. There are many situations where market segment forces over which management have no control , nor can they be foreseen with any degree of confidence, can very quickly cause a major downturn in a company's financial stability. One of the few short term solutions in order to maintain your payroll and save your employees jobs is to screw your suppliers and any other unsecured credit grantors. Not fair, but who ever said business was about fairness ?! Besides bad debt insurance is available so anyone who grants unsecured credit terms should consider that recourse. Anyway, I'm going off on a tangent here just to give Trump ( a person I never liked to begin with , and now even less so ) the benefit of the doubt re his companies bankruptcies . However, that said, one may be excusable but four ?! That's highly suspect, to say the least . Regardless, I can't imagine this carnival clown could get the GOP nomination, but who the heck else would tne republicans choose when polls show him blowing by everyone else with a HUGE ( one of the Donald's favorite words ) margin ?!

yeah - we said the same thing about arnold too, and look at what happened.

as a lot, republicans do the least amount of homework on their candidates, and listen more to dubious sources for their decision making information.  they tend to think more about short term fixes and are more concerned with the immediate economy, and not what really matters in the long term.  trump is yelling a lot about things that resonate, but offering NO solutions that will actually work.  however, fox news is not interested in telling you what would work, so their audience only gets the yelling and hype.  it's a whole lot easier to sell commercials like that.

on a side note, that's why i think we need to go back to the way things were when the fcc granted the networks their license, which required an hour of free news a day.  we need to disallow commercials during those broadcasts.  that would go a long way toward making them unbiased.  but, big business will never let that happen.  big business screws a lot of things up like that.  it's all about the dollar, and to hell with what really matters.

lol - no worries.  my car will get here in a couple of days, and the loopholes that the republicans have put in place are paying for a lot of it.  i follow things to the letter, but those letters allow for a lot.
