I parked at the grocery store. And a very nice gentleman walked over and asked about the 968. He once owned one, we discussed his memories, and my experiences. His was a '94 Amaranth coupe, 6-speed, interior was classic grey with a whiter shade of coloring on the lower part of the dash board. Bought it at 20K miles, and sold it at over 200K. It suffered the pinion bearing failure. He really loved the car and admired mine - his was an upgrade from a 944 he owned prior, and he emphasized what a huge difference the 968 was. He bought it in Seattle but of course had it here in the San Diego area -- the car was a European delivery. He still has the original seats which had a cloth center section. His name is Brian, he remembers the 968-dot-net days, I gave him a 968Forums card, perhaps he'll check in here.
It was a very enjoyable discussion -- I wonder where his car is?
