Up for sale is my 1992 968. It is in excellent condition inside and out. Exterior paint is Polar Silver, two-tone grey interior and currently has 135,xxx miles. I bought this from a 968forums member after extensive work had been done getting it in top shape. Serviced at Niello Porsche in Sacramento for first 60,000 miles. Second owner bought it in May of 2007. It has been in the Sacramento area it's whole life. ALL service records from day one are included (large file folder) and all maintenance and services are up to date. Here is a list of items addressed in the last 18 months:



Timing belt, motor mounts, distributor cap, distributor rotor, spark plugs, plug wire set, timing belt tensioner, water pump, fan switch, cassette holder hinge, thermostat: $2,666

New radiator and water pump (one above failed, this one still has warranty at Franks): $1966

Short Shift Kit: $96

Replaced fuel filler assembly because of fuel vapor leak: $425

Replaced transmission with low mile transmission: $1,425

Custom installed Magnaflow resonator, Magnaflow exhaust with stainless pipes (30 lb weight reduction): $486

Reupholstered driver seat and e-brake lever in original Porsche leather: $500

Painted rear spoiler Polar Silver to match body: $250

Rear wiper delete: $50

Replaced radiator hoses

Replaced/fixed door handles (PITA!)

Replaced exterior temp gauge

RS Barn Stage 1 Chip installed

Exhaust heat shield installed

That’s a total of $10,000+ that has been spent spent since November 2012! This car is ready to go, with an excellent service history. There is nothing left to do but drive it. Everything works on this car including the sunroof, heat, AC, etc.

I have all original keys (including wheel lock keys that were only on the ‘92’s), original wheel locks, all original books and manuals in original case, cruise control, Hi-Fi Sound option. Dynamat to the front doors and trunk area. Previous owner added Memphis Car Audio front speakers and a JVC KD-A925BT stereo with Bluetooth and iPod integration.

Issues to be addressed:

The rear hatch is in great condition but has started to delaminate along the top left. The hatch works fine (both with key and switch) and the defrost works fine.

The passenger seat leather has some cracks and should be refinished (Leatherique or Color Plus) I have a sample of the correct color leather for matching if a place doesn't have it as a standard color.
