Waaaaaaaaaay too much moderation IMHO.

Vague to some may be crystal clear, or simply entertaining, to others.

nothing was lost or deleted, and now it makes sense

the system worked, despite the hiccup

if you want to go unedited etc, make sure the moderators understand the intent and meaning - write for your audience - all too often people write what THEY think makes perfect sense, but fail to take into account that the reader is often approaching the material with no idea whatsoever what the writer is talking about

i was NOT the first one to question the intent of the thread - i was responding to that confusion AND the failure of the second response to clarify it

again, it was erring on the side of caution, and all happened in the span of 1 hour - people are making way too much of this - nobody got edited - nobody got censored - nobody got deleted

is this horse dead yet?

Sure, it starts out innocently enough with your post being removed without any reason, next thing you know your in some basement somewhere with a bright light in your face, subjected to "Enhanced Moderator Techniques"
