Things are coming together. Flash is now installed, in a secret undisclosed location, on the East Coast.

I bought a bunch of stuff for the wash and shine (I have; buckets, soap, simple green, wheel cleaner, microfibers, gloves, glass cleaner, sponges...assorted goops, feel free to bring your favs for yourself or to share)

Wine has arrived for Friday's tasting. (if you would like to contribute or share something of your own that would be great, not neccesary).

Swap meet tailgate, Kathy has sandwiches and stuff on the ready, (feel free to add chips, snack, dessert items, etc.).

Dinner plans are complete, awards have arrived.

Fun run route is set, lunch is arranged.

If we forgot something, we can just run out and grab it...no worries.

Now we just need decent weather and a good group of friends.

So i have my Swap Meet list.....

1) Nice set of used Recaro Pole Positions or Blue/Marble Grey Sport Seats (With cloth inserts)

2) OEM Roof Rack and any goodies i could find for it...such as an OE Roof Basket

3) Hasegawa 968 Model Kit

Distant 4......Saratoga Top. Must be Grey Tint & electric & in excellent condition.

We'll see what i can find.

I won't have my significant other with me (as she will be enjoying a spa day with Melva & Alix) to help with the hunt, so i'm getting out there really early & scavenging for goodies.

Enjoy the fun run guys, but do slow down in the rain. "ol blue" is over at the body shop waiting for the repair estimate right now due to a hydroplane in the rain accident last sunday. I had slowed down from 65 to 60 but water sprayed over from a large truck on the opposite side of the interstate caused my traction to wash out in the front and all I could do was hold on for dear life as we spun to the right in a 360 degree spin and smacked the concrete wall along the interstate. I had to cancel my planned meeting with Bob Larson ("Flash") and Darryl Nichols due to the accident . Good luck and have a glass of wine for me, I wish i were there. Bob Blackwell.

Bob, most upsetting to hear of "Ol Blue" getting customized - but glad that the occupants seem to be OK. We'll be thinking of you.

Hey guys,
Sorry I wont be able to make it this year. I was stranded in Switzerland and just made it out. I was supposed to be back 3 day ago, so I am the last person that can get a day off now.
But, the bright side is that while I was over in Europe, I made it to the Porsche Museum.

It was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looks like my daughter and I may be able to make it on Saturday, but we are not certain yet. If we can, we will be coming out in the 968. My daughter flew in today from Arizona to help her poor old Dad put the 911 back together. What a good girl!

Just met up with Darryl and Christine and handed off a few bottles of wine and they are continuing on to Hershey now. It would appear there will be a plethora of wine there.
