If it were not for the upcoming wedding of one of my daughters in May, I would jump on the "rendezvous" band wagon. Have fun guys!

if you aren't leaving until the 22nd, you won't make it - at 12 hours per day at 65mph average (remember that fuel stops and meal stops mess with your average) it is 4 days - more days if you drive less hours - that means you would have to leave at least on the 20th

i am leaving on the 18th, because i want to get there early to do some work in the shop

New event just added !

Since we aren't sure where we are going to be parked, we decided to have our own "concours". There will be judging for 968s only, based on people's choice. Have some fun and see how others prepare and keep their cars. Awards for the top 3 cabs and top 3 coupes.


Just show up to 968 Special Parking and let your 968 shine!

Looks like I contracted for just the right number of rooms, whew... all sold out and not a minute to spare.

Thanks for the support everyone ! I checked the list of attendees last night and everyone looks legit (or, at least from our circle of friends ).

I hope no one minds, but I am going to start publishing a list of attendees.

If those who are attending do not object to having their names mentioned, publishing the list of 968 attendees is a good way to make those of us who have not yet experienced this event, seriously consider this event in the future! If possible, please publish the list of names along with their matching 968Forums "title".

Still holding back waiting for my Nexus card. Without it - no entry. Mr President, Mr Immigration man, let me in, sweetie, to your fair land. So if I get legal I will need to find another hotel near enough by to stay. Plus I can't leave now until supper time on Thursday as I have to chair a panel at a conference.

Kim, assuming you become a "desirable", the fact that the block of rooms is gone doesn't mean that the hotel is sold out. Check before you go elsewhere.

Correct Anchorman...the $139 deal is over but the standard rate of $179 may still be available.

It couldn't hurt to ask for the price, but no promises on that one.
