my prep continues - gathering things for the trailer
i got to do some quick testing today on the new rear spoiler on the denali - i expected to gain a small amount of fuel economy, but so far, it is showing a whole lot more than expected - very cool! i hope the gains hold up like that while towing

the denali is almost ready - just need to install the heat shield and change the oil
the 968 is a whole different matter - there is a LONG list of things to do on that car, and i figure to be on it all day every day for the next 3 to 4 weeks
looks like daryl is going to ride shotgun with me, and we are already making those plans - should make for a much more enjoyable drive
i'd love to see if we can time things so that we could grab a bite or something with people along the way - i figure we will take 40 out through to OKC where we will jump on 44 and head up through ST Louis to 70, and then down to daryl's - let us know if you are along that route or could meet us on that route, and we'll see if we can coordinate that
a day at the barn after that in prep, and off to hershey
miles to go before i sleep

2) Look for "E" on fuel gauge, (Should be below "F"), if indicated by the needle you should;
3) On Garmin, select "Points of Interest"
4) Select "Fuel"
5) Pull into the Gas Station indicated
6) Insert nozzle until needle goes from "E" to "F"
Ornery today,

Just a quick update.
Friday night - April 23, 2010
RS Barn and Design1Racing have generously offered to host a wine and cheese reception.
While I'm certain that there will be enough for everyone, I also know that we have a number of winies (wino's?) in our midst and if you would like to share a special bottle please feel free, we'd be happy to drink more

Confirmng a question from one of our enthusiasts, there is a single $10 fee to join us in the Concours area. Adminssion to the event is free.
I received my first check for dinner this week, this event will close on April 17, 2010.
Rooms are starting to get booked at The Hilton, deadline for rooms price is March 24, please book soon!
Regards,
Jay
