Wow, Day 1 was awesome! What a success!
RS Barn, Jay, Don, Darryl and Bob did a fantastic job hosting the meet and greet. Lots of wine and stories.
Great to see lots of old freinds and made lots of new ones.

Seems we have great new family starting for years to come.


I forgot my camera, but got these with my iphone before we left for dinner.
There's whole bunch of them in the parking lot now.

Hi folks,

My pictures are on my camera, so I'll get to it later.

We had a beautiful night last night, warm, sunny and blue skies.

About 25 cars and just about the same number of bottles of wine. Bob brought some stellar bottles from California and Rico pitched in some Pinot Noir that just rocked. I don't rmember much aftert the Pinot, but Pete and I managed a bite to eat around 11 PM.

At 8:00 this morning, 27 968's rolled out of the parking lot at the Hilton. We shoved and blocked and scored a big enough parking area to accomodate late arrivals. Kathy laid out a spread that took 2 parking spaces and no one left hungry or thirsty.

Late this morning, a previously unseen silver 968 coupe rolled into special parking, who should it be but Mr. Ray Starbird himself. I had never met Ray before, but we had a very nice conversation and he and pete and Bob and I all spent some quality time together. Ray is a real gentleman and I look forward to chatting with him again soon.

The clouds rolled in about 1:30 and we are now assembling back at the hotel until dinner starts at 7:30.

What a great group of people! More to come

It was my first time out there with my husband and I don't regret going. Lot of nice people and NICE cars!! As soon as I got on the road to come back home, the first thing I said was "i already miss seeing all those 968s". Thanks everyone for putting this great even together. And Kathy, you are awesome!!

Really bummed about missing another Hershey event. For once I had off work and was all set for the 2hr trip. However on Thursday my Dad took sick (cancer survivor) and was taken to the hospital. Soooo needless to say I couldn't make it.

Thanks to Pat for getting my brake pads for me. I look forward to seeing all the pics.

Had a great time!!!
nice to see everybody, sorry I had to leave early but my wife is not a car person but I commend her staying as long as she did.
Picked up lots of Chocolate for the kids before leaving Hershey.
Must say Flash's car is SWEEEEEEEETTTTTT!!!!!! very impressive to see in person!!!!!
They sold all 10 Superchargers!!!! Couldn't believe it, I will be definitely on the list for the 2nd round.

Looks like you guys had great weather. I miss driving in the long 968 train to the swap meet. That is always fun.
